Dachuan Lane Art Installation

Dachuan lane of Chengdu, West Bank of Jinjiang River, is a historical street linking the ruins of Chengdu East Gate City wall. In the project, the archway of Dachuan Lane in the history was rebuilt by the old way in the original street, and the story of this street was told by the street art installation. The intervention of art installation is a kind of media for the continuation and transmission of stories. It not only reproduces the traces of historical streets and lanes that have been demolished, but also provides a kind of temperature of urban memory for the new streets and lanes.

Iceberg

Icebergs are interior sculptures. By connecting mountains, it is possible to build mountain ranges, mental landscapes made of glass. The surface of each recycled glass object is unique. Thus, each object has a unique character, a soul. Sculptures are handshaped, signed and numbered in Finland. The main philosophy behind the Iceberg sculptures is to reflect the climate change. Therefore the material used is recycled glass.

Xi'an is located at the starting place of the Great Silk Road. In the creative research process of art, they combines the modern nature of the Xi'an W hotel brand, Xi'an's special history and culture, and the wonderful art stories of the Tang Dynasty. Pop combined with graffiti art become the artistic expression of W hotel which had a profound impact.

KT 5G

Ushering in the commercialization of 5G service, Designtist installed sculptures that embodied KT 5G technology in collaboration with the pop art designer duo Craig & Karl. The main features of 5G service (ultra-high speed, ultra-low latency, hyper connectivity) were shaped into dynamic design, vivid colors and patterns. 5G technology connecting the world was modernly reinterpreted with drones and autonomous driving, and various arrow images expressed the connectivity, speed, and data flow.

Coral

As a child, Pang Swee Tuan loved visiting the beach. Memories of these happy moments have always stayed firmly with him. Inspired by the intricate details on corals, he created the series "Coral - Rhythm of the Seas", to commemorate the wonderful times of his childhood. Coral-inspired, this teapot has a single handle that effectively encompasses handling the teapot from all directions (overhead, left or right) and is inclusive of the myriad of ways different cultures handle a teapot.

Gajusz Foundation

The mural was created for children’s hospice. The design is a metaphor for the transition between two worlds. The building’s walls were used to show the metaphor. The dark and starry universe contrasts with the huge pink bird. Pink flamingo symbolizes caring support. Girl’s hair is a symbol for imagination and free spirit.
