Wind Crystals

At the invitation of government, doTa designed this installation artwork using salt crystals presenting the culture of Budai County, Taiwan. The mahogany wood is used to create a tapered frame that connects the crystallized salt to form a truss structure that can be extended freely. When the sea breeze blows, it rotates according to the wind direction and strength of the wind, chasing the light and the shadow, and the sound of BuDai County.

The Glimmer

Tape that creates a large-scale artistic overlay by using fluorescent film and light-storing tape to outline the design. This creative medium absorbs sunlight during the day and emits light at night, transforming the train into a moving lantern. In response to the Taiwan Lantern Festival, they curated the world's first light rail train installation that emits light without electricity. It traveled on Kaohsiung's Love River Bay, like a glimmer flowing. In the car, the vision is also cut by tape lines, and the changing light is used to create an infinitely extending, diffuse image.

Taboo

Inspired by the human female pelvis, the taboo chair is made of a special organic degradable no-fire clay, which is based on the traditional Chinese rammed earth construction concept, using topology optimization algorithms to improve the overall structure to ensure that it can withstand 1000 Nm of downforce while maintaining the bionic structure.The material used in the chair was invented to respond to the current call for energy saving and emission reduction, and can be degraded to organic fertilizer in landfills under suitable conditions.

Beltman

Beltman has a very recognizable style of composition, it has a human form, but his joints are mechanical, as if dominated. He has strong emotions and a personality. The complex lines are intertwined from the center, incredibly suffocating, and gradually diverge and spread to the whole body, becoming easy and straightforward. Its full-body visual presentation conveys a straightforward concept, control. The designer tries to create an aesthetic where stories can be in simplicity, and the order can be in complexity.

Aeon

This work is inspired by the fable at the beginning of the first chapter of Zhuangzi's philosophy, A Happy Excursion. This sculpture is a reflection of the real world in microcosm and explores the nature of time and space, reality and fantasy, instant and eternity, which appear to be opposites but are at the same time interdependent symbiotic phenomena.

Knotted

Knotted bench was designed with the idea that furniture was needed in order to solve various social problems resulting from generational conflict, showing awareness of a society that hates society and showing an attitude of accepting diversity in life. Using various building materials necessary for the process of building a house, the scattered households are united as one with a bench. With the Knotted bench, imagine a society that recognizes and communicates diversity and difference toward generational coexistence.
